More than 500 exhibitors from China and abroad are participating in this year’s International Film and TV Market held at Shanghai Exhibition Center from June 9 to 11.

The market consists of five sections, respectively  for TV dramas, documentaries and animations, variety shows, overseas joint exhibitions and   special   exhibitions.

The market occupies 22,000 square meters of the   total exhibition area and attracts leading domestic    and overseas film and television production and technology companies, including CCTV, SMG, MediaCorp, Tencent, LeTV and Croton Media among  others.

More than 80 overseas exhibitors from South Korea, Singapore, Italy, Turkey and other countries have set up booths at the market.

“The View from Taiwan” is a joint booth that showcases film and TV projects from Taiwan, and exhibitors like the 2015 Taipei International  TV Forum as well as various TV and film projects participate in the large exhibition booth to promote the  works  and  find  buyers.

Among others, there is a featured production titled Friends of Humans in the Sea , which looks at the origin and  future  of  the  mysterious  whale  sharks.

The equipment market brings the latest development and products in radio and Television technology.

In 2014, STVF and SIFF merged the previous five markets to build a bigger and better platform for exhibitors. This year, it has expanded and added function zones for forum, release, negotiation and more to create a comprehensive industry chain within the market and provide the space for exhibitors to present contents and seek buyers.
