The Most Creative Award of the Asian Animation Pitch & Catch competition went to Emmy by Left Pocket Studio. My Toy Puppy by Fantasia Animation took the Best Market Potential Award.

Director Leno Miao\'s Emmy is the story of a brave and imaginative girl who lives in a forest with her best friend Gruffal. The animation depicts a magical world involving fascinating characters, such as the little elf prince, the king and queen and their twin sons.

Zhang Tianxiao\'s My Toy Puppy is an imagination-rich story of a family, a child and a pet puppy. It centers on the loneliness of a boy named Qiqi and his dog Pip and reflects the void faced by children living in cities whose parents are busy with work and supporting the family. Its point is that children need companions to play with.

The Asian Animation Pitch & Catch is a leading platform for Asian animations, fostering originality, improving quality and further expanding the market.

Ten animated productions were selected for this year\'s final from about 200 submitted projects. An additional 15 excellent projects fell outside the top 10.

Three student projects were also recognized: A Little Girl, Finding Bresson and Waou.
