Eye for Brilliance, Looking at Excellence
The four units of this year’s STVF – Magnolia TV Film, TV Series, Documentary and Animation – include style-diversified excellent global works on a variety of subject matters embracing both attraction and hot issues. Besides, the International Film & TV Market featuring professionalism and internationalism manifests a pattern of multiple program display and trading cooperation, aiming at constructing an all-media program market covering all links of the TV industry chain including originality, production, release and broadcasting. Themed “Innovation and Cooperation in the All-media Era” with “Olympic Games Craze”& “TV Craze” as the backdrop, the forum will be centered on the transmission form and the change of transmission ecology in the all-media era. In addition, the 18th STVF is well worth attention owing to the special activities like the global TV program exhibition and college students’ TV festival.
The 18th STVF poster was designed by concentrating numerous colorful dots to form a multiple-colored pupil with the implied significance of diversity, richness and excellence of the TV festival via “TV” (sharing the same pronunciation of eye in Chinese). The colorful light beams bursting out of the circle symbolizes “pupil”, which is the most shining part of the eye; the bursting of the pupil is symbolic of the boom and lasting charm of the TV industry in the new era.
Below the poster, there are the snapshots of the landmark buildings include the International Financial Center (IFC), Oriental Pearl Tower, China Pavilion and some other building complexes, which represent STVF and the ever-changing development in Shanghai.
After a sequence of brainstorming, modifications and comparisons, Chenyuchen has finalized the design of the poster for the 18th STVF since the beginning of this year. This is the fifth consecutive year of this company’s design of the poster.
