STVF Has Released the Nomination List of Magnolia Award

 

On May 9th, the 17th Shanghai TV Festival has released the Magnolia Award Nomination List of four categories which are TV Series, TV Films, Documentary, and Animation. There is a fierce competition in TV Series. A Story of Lala\'s Promotion, Happy Memories of the Ma’s, Tie LiHua, Before Dawn, and Three Kingdoms will compete for Best TV Series; the Best Actor will be selected among Li Xuejian, Zhang Jiayi, Wu Xiubo, Wen Zhang and Lai Yiu Cheung from TVB (HK), while five famous actress: Wang Luodan, Yang Mi, Sa Rina, Chen Shu and Tang Shui Man will compete for the Best Actress.
 
 
Besides TV Series, several excellent programs of TV Film gathered in this year’s competition. The multivariate theme includes ethical film, comedy, science fiction film and etc. Among them, the Chinese TV film The Wonderful Life is one of the most excellent films worth watching.
 
The nomination list of Documentary covers twenty excellent programs over the world. The candidates for Social Documentary, Asian Documentary, History & Biography Documentary and Nature Documentary show the creator’s perspective about the current life, which are bear seeing.
 
The selected programs of animation contain many well produced, creative domestic original animations as well as several foreign animations which have unique visual angle and artistic style. The well-known and welcomed animation such as Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf Moon Castle: the Space Adventure, Heroes of Ancient Dynasties and Fairy Tales of the Brick Kingdom are also listed.
 
These excellent programs listed above will compete for the Magnolia Awards, and the awarding ceremony will be held on the evening of June 10h. The People’s Choice Award for Best TV Series this year has been brought into the section of Magnolia Award, and the online voting process will start soon. The audience can select Best Actor of Public Appeal, Best Actress of Public Appeal, Most Talented Director and Most Popular TV Series among the nominated TV Series. Furthermore, part of the excellent TV Film, Documentary and Animation will be broadcasted on Art & Culture Channel, DocuChina, ICS, and ToonMax.
