Animation Project Pitching 2009

As one of the major sections of the 15^th Shanghai Television Festival, Animation Project Pitching 2009, which is co-hosted by the Organizing Committee of Shanghai TV Festival, Shanghai Culture and Technology Creative Industry Base and Shanghai Union Animation & Comic Industrial Development Centre, has already done with the submission and entered the stage of the first trial. All the awards will be chosen and announced during the Shanghai Television Festival, still, they will be taken to MIPCOM JUNIOR in Cannes, France in Oct. for market promotion. The picked projects of the 2008 event had been presented by STVF in MIPCOM JUNIOR 2008 inCannes, and had caught the eye of many in the market, and gained more than click-through rate from buyers. The Organizing Committee solicits animations which can be shown as movie or on TV and new media all over the country. The jury panel is made up of notable animators and media investors from around the world. The jury will judge all the submitted project materials and vote out the winners. One project of Most Creative Award and one of Best Market Potential Award will bevoted out and awarded with the total prize money of 300,000 RMB each. Furthermore, the winners can also get the chance to be presented in MIPCOM JUNIOR in Cannes, France in Oct. and to NAPTE in Jan., 2010 for market promotion.
