With the official poster being unveiled, STVF is now on its way

The organizing committee of 15th Shanghai TV Festival unveils its official poster today after a wide selection since its call for entries early this year.

Designers from both well established agencies and institutes submitted over 100 works, most of which are full of inspiring ideas.

It was the 2nd time after STVF 2006 for Chen Guojin, the designer for this year\'s STVF poster, to be selected as the official poster. It is a great return journey.

Concept of 15th STVF Poster

The key word for the idea of STVF poster this year is Watching TV. All efforts made by professions in TV industry aim at having people watching TV. Shi, the Chinese character on the poster, means watching TV. The poster makes a full use of image illustration of Chinese Character and applies a special effect to the Jian, another Chinese character means seeing and also part of Chinese the character Shi. In the poster, Jian does not only present an image of eye but also outline the word TV in English. The usage is a combination of cultures of China and overseas while at the same time, appreciates the fascination of TV with different backgrounds from different places. The strong different colors also deliver the idea of  excellent TV programs of different cultures.
