Overseas Exhibitors Occupy Almost Half in STVF
The International TV and Film Market of the 14th Shanghai Television Festival has attracted 215 exhibitors.
Compared with the festivals before, this year\'s International TV and Film Market shows several new features. First, it combines exchange and trade of international program market together. This year\'s festival has attracted many overseas media such as Warner Bros. International Television, Walter Disney, Japan Local Broadcasters Association, Singapore New Media, European Broadcasters Association, Korea Local Broadcasters and India ZEE as exhibitors. According to the statistics, 45% of the exhibitors are from abroad. As a partner of the Shanghai Television Festival, NATPE also set its booth in the exhibition. Second , apart from organizations which appear as a group such as CCTV, SMG, Zhejiang Media Group Co, Ltd and Hubei TV, many private-owned film and TV making organizations also set booths vying to show their recently issued works.
More over is that it has attracted many emerging media and organizations. Lots of famous Chinese websites such as joy.com, tudou.com, and youku.com come to co-exhibit with them. The Digital TV attached to SMG, which is also called the SiTV, avails the opportunity of the trade platform to promote its hit programs like "Hot Sports", "City Theater", "Documentary" and so on.
