Creating and Recording Children\'s Happiness

 

As an event of the Magnolia Forum, Children\'s TV Forum was held yesterday at the OTV mansion. Children\'s TV plays a very important role in child development. “Creating and Recording Children\'s Happiness” is the theme of the forum.  Leaders of SARFT, directors of children\'s channels in China, presidents of well-known media companies, and experts in children\'s education, were invited to the forum.  The invited guests explored children\'s TV business philosophy and strategy; exchanged experiences in branding and specialising; probed suitable broadcasting and managing systems; discussed how to balance public good with economic benefit. The forum promoted communication and interaction among all fields and development of children\'s TV.

Mr. Jin Delong, Director-General of the Department of Publicity and Administration of State Administration of Radio Film and Television, delivered a speech at the forum firstly. He said it was very important for the children channel to maintain balance in a relationship between resources-driven and market- driven, between social benefit and economic returns, between quality improvement and customer requirement, between learning and creation, between better development and stricter management, between innovation and criticism.

Then, Yang Wenyan, Director of SMG, and Tong Yao, Director of Children Channel, TVS, and Wu Xue, Director of Children Channel, Tianjin TV, and Lin Zi, producer of Children Channel, Jiangsu TV shared their views at yesterday\'s Children\'s TV Forum.

Yang Wenyan reviewed the experience of HAHA Kids Channel of SMG. The target audiences of HAHA Kids Channel consist of children under 18 years old and their parents. Characterized by its unique style of happy, colorful, free, interactive, HAHA Kids Channel sticks to the concept of “from the perspective of kids, for the kids, by the kids”, the mascot of the channel HAHA returns rights of choice to kids. Let kids speak, speak for the kids and speak like kids.
