STVFORUM of the 30th Shanghai TV Festival will be held from June 23rd to 25th. As the official main activity of Shanghai TV Festival, STVFORUMcontinuously focuses on new trends of the television industry as well as its new patterns.

 

The 7 forums invite domestic and international industry leaders to discuss the industry and collide views.Centering around heated topics including high-quality TV production, international communication and technological innovations, STVFORUM actively guides artistic creation and pays close attention to the dynamic television industry, so as to foster improvements and innovations in television programs, promote industry optimization and upgrading, and pursue high-quality development.The masterclass invites Mr. Chen Baoguo, Jury President for the 30th Magnolia Awards (TV Drama Category), to share his professional experiences and his personal reflections and observations on the recent development of high-quality Chinese television dramas.

Three Decades of Dreams Woven in Light and Shadow-The Magnolia Bloom Radiantly as Ever. From the inaugural 1986 Shanghai International TV Festival of Friendship Cities that unveiled China’s television industry to the world, to its current standing as one of Asia’s most influential international TV exchange platforms, Shanghai TV Festival has consistently championed the philosophy of being professional, international and people-benefiting. It has not only witnessed and propelled the flourishing growth of China’s television industry but has also served as an open and inclusive bridge for global film and television exchange-letting the world understand China here, and allowing China to converse with the world as well. The opening forum,“Thirty & Thriving: Screen Arts’New Horizon”serves both as a tribute to past editions and an aspirational look toward the future. Here, we will hear from worldclass creators sharing their artistic journeys, examine the dynamic interplay between the Magnolia Awards’growth and industry progress, trace the Shanghai TV Festival’s global reach and influence, and contemplate the challenges and opportunities brought by transformations in the audiovisual landscape.
